He would have come sooner, but it was OK with me to wait for the next day. He was prompt, courteous and professional. My repair was done in less than 15 minutes. I checked around and his initial service call fee was less than anyone else and there was no travel fee.

My experience with Able Garage Door Service was fantastic. My old residential garage door needed replacement because of an accident. Tim was a straight shooter and offered a superior quality product at the lowest price compared to his competitors. I really appreciated his honest, no pressure sales approach. Our garage door would not open fully except manually. We called Able and got a time established within a day. He arrived on time and had his ladder up and in the open garage within two minutes. He not only quickly fixed the problem with an adjustment but also showed me how to do maintenance on the door which he believed would extend its life for several years. For the last 2 weeks my garage door made a terrible grinding noise as soon as the door was about 3-4 inches off the ground. Tim immediately explained to me the most likely problem was and told me he would look to see if that was the case before we did anything else. Sure enough it was that piece that rides the track and pulls the door off the ground. He had the piece right in his truck and took him 15-20 minutes to get it off and put it back on. When I asked him about a remote control for the door, which I didn’t own, he looked at everything and again…pulled it right out of the truck, programmed it, and good to go! Tim was respectful, informative, and provided helpful suggestions but never trying to up-sell anything. The fact that I called him early on a Saturday and he was here within 2 hours, which was the time he promised, that was fantastic! This is the 2nd time I use Able Garage Door Service to help get my garage door back on track. I’ve been impressed both times! I would highly, highly recommend him.

Repaired misaligned door by shimming the rails. Also lubed the rollers. I think the clutch on the reverse mechanism was adjusted.

The service was scheduled within 2 days of calling. The owner came out and inspected and gave an estimate. I even inquired about extras which he said were unnecessary. I appreciate when a provider goes out of the way not to sell anything extra. Anyway the door worked much smoother and even quieter

The company consists of one person so the man on the phone will be the man in your garage. He was on time for our appointment, diagnosed the problem in minutes, had the correct part in the truck, and charged me exactly what he had estimated. I had a door panel that was cracked at the top.  He repaired the panel by reinforcing it.

I saw his name on angies list, so I called.  He set up a time to be here on Saturday.  He called before he came saying that he would be coming early.  He got here looked at the door and said the panels are not longer made, but that he could fix it, which he did.  I really appreciate him not trying to sell me a new door, but rather taking the low cost route of fixing my existing door.  He is a very straight forward competent worker.

Tim showed up right on time and was prepared to get started right away. He was done in 30 minutes and it works GREAT! Not only did he complete the repair but he serviced the door as well. After he was done he graciously offered to service the garage for the other door and did not charge me. This guy is good.
